Hello! I hope anybody reading this is doing well! I’ve just got home and I’m going to my queer hangout thing in about an hour. That means I have time to write a blog post, yay!
I discovered something awesome today! It’s a text based resource management game called a dark room (click the text to go to the website!). At first it’s about managing a fire alone in a room, but as the game goes on you can do way more than that. I’ve just managed to build the steelworks, and am trying to build a water tank! It kind of reminds me of cult of the lamb, which I really like! I want to eventually make a page with links to cool places on the web. I already have a spot to put other people’s personal sites that I like to visit, but it would be fun to have somewhere to put games and stuff too! I also want to make a page with links to my favourite stuff on the internet archive, like old fanzines!
Today, if I have time, I might try to add some stuff about my fandoms. I’ve already joined a bunch of fanlistings, and after seeing all those awesome fansites I really want to put more fandom stuff on my own site. I’m considering making a page on my website which is just about Star Trek, and have a bunch of GIFs and photos of my figures and collectibles!

Greetings! I’m quite proud of myself for consistently updating this. I’ve been having great fun both writing blog posts and working on my website’s layout. It isn’t perfect but it’s mine, and I like it! I am having a problem with some of the dates showing up as linked phone numbers on mobile though, which is annoying. I’m very excited for halloween, and am watching and reading horror to prepare. Before Halloween though, the new season of 9-1-1 is coming out! I am incredibly excited, and considering liveblogging one of the episodes. I definitely would like to post reviews/discussions of the episodes as they come out, but I might save liveblogging for the season finale. I’m really, really hoping we get another Halloween special, or at least a christmas special. Ideally both, but I don’t know how likely that is.
Today has been a bit of a busy day for me. I go to a queer youth hangout thing every monday so i’ve been there today. It was a great time but I am quite tired since I was busy this weekend. There was also someone there handing out flyers about a similar hangout spot for trans young adults, which is great! I’m about to age out of the hangout I normally go to now, and I have another one which doesn’t have an upper limit but it’s nice to have options. I’m also very excited because the new place is having an introduction to silver smithing later this month that I’m really hoping I’ll get to go to. I’m also going to the other place, the one without the upper age limit, tomorrow, which will be very fun. I haven’t been in a while because I’ve been busy, so I’m very much looking forward to going back!
In the way of site changes, I’ve been trying to set up more connections to other places on the web. I’m starting to put links to other sites I like on my page, and am even applying to join some webrings and fanlistings! So far I’ve been accepted into a Star Trek TOS fanlisting, which I’m very happy about. Star Trek is my favourite thing ever since I was like 10!
I think that’s about all the updates for today, or at least all I have energy to write about, have a lovely day and live long and prosper!
04/10-2026 – Home from conference!
Hello again! I just got home from my conference. We had to start the meeting earlier in the morning than planned and skip the planned break before the journey home because we were behind schedule. I’ve been in meetings and travelling since 08:00 so I’m quite tired now. I started reading a new book on the way (I probably shouldn’t since I’m already reading a bunch but no turning back now) and I really like it! It’s called This Is How You Lose the Time War and is a sci-fi novel! I love sci-fi and the novel sort of starts in the middle of stuff happening so I’m trying to figure out what the world it’s set in is like while I’m reading.
Speaking of books, I want to write something on the discussion page about the short story collection I’m reading (Haunted Castles by Ray Russel) since I just finished the first short story. My media discussion page has just sort of been empty and staring at me so I want to actually write something for it, and it feels like it suits the season since the second week of October is starting tomorrow! I’m trying to get into the spirit of the season now since I’ve been too busy to do much the past few weeks! I think I might watch some of my favourite halloween specials soon (maybe today) and write about them on my media discussion page. I especially like the halloween specials from 9-1-1, which is one of my favourite shows! There’s also going to be a new season of 9-1-1 starting on the 15th so I’m hoping for another halloween special!

03/10 - 2026 – Conference and new pages for website
My second blog post, yay! I have no clue if anybody is even seeing these but I am having fun writing them.
I’m at a sort of conference right now, a big meeting for an organisation I am in. We’re all staying at an out-of-season summer camp and having meetings and debates most of the day. I really really like debating so I am having a great time, and my friends who live in other cities are here! I live in the same city as the conference so I didn’t have to travel very far, which is lucky for me, but some of my friends travelled like 6 hours just to get here. We’ve had the first parts of the meeting yesterday and today to discuss what our organisation has been doing the past year, but the most exciting part is beginning later today, and we’ll get to decide what we’re doing in the coming year.
I’ve also added actual links on the media discussion page of this website, so I have somewhere to put media discussions, though I haven’t actually written any yet. I’m coming home from the conference after lunch tomorrow, so I might write something for one of those pages then. To be honest I might just make a page about Star Trek and write a bit about that. I do feel like it isn’t really my website until there’s Star Trek.

Hello! This is my first blog post, hopefully there will be many more to come! I'm mostly testing that I'm able to put stuff in little boxes on the website right now, which I think is working, though I can't say it looks very good. It is quite shoddy, though I think that maybe gives it it's own sort of charm.
I'm glad to have this blog as somewhere I can babble on about my creative projects and interests. I can sort of treat it as its own project. I want to add media recommendations and discussion pages as well, which is something I'm quite excited about. I'm especially excited about getting to add fannish elements. The whole reason I wanted a website was because I was looking at old fansites (and some still active ones!) and people's fannish personal websites. I want to add fic recs and discussion, not in a reviewing out of five stars kind of way, but just somewhere I can yap. I might make it a sort of reading log for my favourites. i want to post some of my own fanworks here as well. I don't have a lot but I've been trying to write fanpoetry and even a filk. I've also been learning how to play some songs from my favourite fanfic (Sansûkh, by Determamfidd) on the piano and violing, so I might record that and put it somewhere here.
